Where do I take medical waste from home care?

We are caring for a bedridden patient at home and generate sharps and dressings. The regular collection will not take them.

They are right to refuse — that is biomedical waste. The Primary Health Centre accepts it from home care patients. Keep sharps in a puncture-proof container and hand it over during working hours.
