Our commitment to an interface every citizen can use.
1. Our commitment
WeOne is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites. Accessibility is treated as a requirement of every module, not a later addition.
2. What is implemented
Keyboard navigation throughout, a visible focus indicator on every interactive element, a skip-to-content link, semantic landmarks, ARIA labelling on icon-only controls, colour contrast that meets AA in both light and dark themes, and full support for the operating system "reduce motion" setting.
3. Text and zoom
The interface uses relative units and reflows cleanly to 200% zoom without loss of content or functionality.
4. Languages
English is available today. Malayalam is being added module by module; database fields for Malayalam names already exist across the geography and department data.
5. Reporting a barrier
If any part of WeOne is difficult to use with your assistive technology, write to support@weone.kerala.gov.in and we will treat it as a defect.
